Connecting family

Hi you lovely lot.

You are all so incredible when it comes to keeping an eye out for the world around you and writing such thoughtful nominations. Please don’t stop. We can’t do this without you and as heartbreaking as it is to not be able to help them all it brings us real comfort to know that as a group of 500 we are able to make such a small but profound difference to the lives of an individual or family each and every week. When we read of children with cancer it’s hard to think of anything in the world less fair or more heartbreaking. When all that little boy wants to do is stay connected to his family and especially his little 5 year old brother whilst he’s in hospital for 6 months but doesn’t have the money to be able to have a phone or pay the bill, that’s where we can step in and help. You’ve all made that happen and we love you for it.

Thank you x Sophia suggested I got in contact with you as we are trying to find some funding to buy a phone for a family who's son has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia aged 16.  He will be spending the next 6 months in hospital and has 3 siblings, they don't have a working device to face time with from the hospital and are unable to visit him.  I was wondering if the charity would consider funding a smart phone for him?  He is particularly close to his 5 year old brother and is really struggling not being able to speak with him or see him. Many thanks Alex Ramsden
