Watering the seeds

Morning all! We normally try and promote kindness by sponsoring a kids sports team and in return we ask that team get involved in doing something lovely in their community to pay it forward. Well this year, step forward Boco Trojans U8’s!

This club was set up by a group of parents and carers to give kids a game that have been through the foster system and/or have never played before or can’t get a game elsewhere. They promote kindness above all things and are already doing a club litter pick in their area but need some setting up costs.

We are able to go someway to getting this club going by sponsoring their kit, as for us they are exactly what team sports are all about. Camaraderie, friendship, community and kindness. Win, lose or draw your 500 friends and 500 Reasons are behind you and wish you nothing but success.

Hi Joe,Thank you so much for your support – it truly means the world to us.Boco Trojan is a brand-new team at Boco. It started as a way to give every child a chance to play, no matter their skill level or experience.

While we understand football is a competitive sport, at this age, just seven years old, it’s about nurturing their love for the game and letting them dream big, whether that’s becoming the next Messi or Rob Atkinson.We’re proud to have a team made up of kids from all walks of life – some have come through the foster system, others are new to the sport, and a few have faced challenges finding a place on other teams.

Our focus is on creating something truly special – a community that feels more like family than just a football team.As mentioned, we’re working hard to raise funds through our JustGiving page to help with essential running costs. This includes things like tournament fees, portable training goals, Christmas gifts, and Player of the Match trophies to celebrate their efforts and progress.We cannot express how overwhelmed we are to have your support.
