Cutting through red tape

Morning lovely people

I've not nominated before but we have a chap locally to us that could do with a bit of help.

He lives alone with his dog and has struggled with his mental health for some time now.

He had a fall about 10 days ago and needed to go into hospital to have his ankle pinned back together. In the meantime it appears that he's struggled to cope with life.

Social work are involved but unfortunately didn't clock the fact that the electric meter was about to run out and all his freezer food defrosted whilst he was in hospital. He arrived home on Wednesday.

My son’s carer has been helping him as she knows him from their over 50's club and he will now be struggling to replenish his freezer and get by.

Is there any chance 500 reasons could give him a small bit of help to help him buy some more food  to help get himself back on his feet?
