The autism society

Joe Sims

Parenthood can present itself with many challenges and in order to meet those challenges it’s so comforting to know that there are fantastic groups and human beings out there to help us navigate almost every aspect of our journey. How lovely it is to see that when one of these groups have helped that they are duly rewarded by a recipient giving a bit back in order that they can carry on their incredible work.

The national autism society https://www.autism.org.uk/ is one such group. When Mike and his wife found that their child had autism they knew absolutely nothing about the condition fortunately this society was able and are still able to help them every step of the way.

Mike was so grateful for their support that he has decided to run 2000km in a year to help them help other families that have young people with autism. We wish him well in his undertaking cos let’s face it, that’s a very long way to run for a very good cause! Top man Mike!
