Milk for babies

Happy Summer to all of you.

We hope you’re enjoying some warm long days.

We have had some lovely news here at 500 Reasons HQ. The brilliant Charlotte, who Co-founded this group, and her lovely husband Rich have welcomed a new baby to their family so we are wishing them all lots of love and snuggles.

And it was them that nominated this week. Moved by stories of mothers and babies in Gaza not having access to milk, they have found a wonderful charity delivering baby milk and nappies to families in Gaza and we felt this was a perfect way to mark a new arrival here by helping families so desperately in need.

Thank you all, as always, for your ongoing support which allows us to reach out across the world and make a difference in these simple but life-saving ways.

Hello,

I would like to nominate what I think is the most needed cause.

It is heartbreaking that it is needed, but there is a huge shortage of baby milk in Gaza, and this wonderful organisation is getting it in on the ground.

It delivered over 2000 tins of it in April alone.

Many woman’s milk has dried up due to malnutrition, and I can’t imagine how heart breaking it is to see your baby cry because they are hungry and you can’t provide that basic care.

To not have baby milk being supplied is so cruel.

And would love 500 reasons to be able to help.
