Helping he’s war wounds

Morning! Our friends at 500 Reasons (Ukraine) reached out to us as they have a new initiative where they are training Yoga experts to help provide trauma sensitive training to people that have been through an unimaginable amount.

War veterans and their families, people who’ve survived incarceration or captivity, children who’ve lost their parents and people who have lost their homes all are looking to be supported and we want to provide our continuing support. Fortunately they’ve found help in Greece and any donations are going to be doubled. Here’s their nomination:
Over two years have passed since Russia invaded Ukraine. In that time, millions of Ukrainians have suffered unimaginable loss and trauma. As the war continues, the mental and physical toll on Ukrainians only deepens, leaving a nation emotionally scarred and in desperate need of healing. This is a unique chance to help yoga teachers and therapists from Ukraine who, even in conditions of war, forced emigration, and unimaginable stress, continue to support their students and help people who need it most:
war veterans and their familiespeople who survived captivity or lived under occupationchildren who have lost their parentspeople who lost homes, jobs, and incomes, or faced life-threatening conditionspeople living in conditions of forced emigration
Your support will empower Ukrainian yoga teachers to go back to Ukraine and their own communities to help others through specifically targeted and bespoke trauma-informed practices.
