Hey you lovely lot! We have decided to split the pot this week between two wonderful homeless organisations either side of the Severn.
In Bristol, the incredible Wild Goose day centre who offers meals, hope and support to anyone experiencing insecurities such as hunger or homelessness. The hot meals and practical help offered give people hope at their point of crisis, whilst ongoing support means that they are championed to rebuild their lives. You can find more out about their wonderful work here: https://www.inhope.uk/our-venues/the-wild-goose/
And in Cardiff the wonderful group Huggard who are Cardiff’s “Out of Hours” Emergency Housing Provider. They have 40 emergency beds, including 10 safe, secure areas for women and 5 self-contained spaces for the very vulnerable.
Anyone who is homeless can come to them for food, clothing, emergency and longer term accommodation, as well as a range of specialist services, including nurse and GP support, harm reduction and mental health interventions.
For more Huggard info, have a look here: https://www.huggard.org.uk/about-us/
Life saving work from both institutions that will be working harder than ever this Christmas.
Thank you all and loads of love from you Admin Team
