Gympanzees

Morning! This week’s nomination comes from the lovely Marie Baker who’d like to help Gympanzees.org there’s a lovely short video here about what Gympanzees do for the young people they serve with Anna and Arthur.

They say: 

There are 90,000 children and young people with disabilities living within an hour of Bristol. 

77% of them cannot access regular leisure facilities, so can’t play, exercise or socialise in the same ways as their peers.

Their mission at Gympanzees is to enable every child and young person with a disability to access regular play, exercise and friendship, to improve their physical and mental health and well-being, and to take their families out of isolation.

So here’s Marie’s nomination:

 I would like to nominate the above company for a donation from 500 reasons. 

This company makes inclusive play for all children, regardless of ability.  The staff there are so friendly and willing to help all the children no matter what.  Parents are invited to stay and the children have a whale of a time

The company has just got new premises and would welcome a donation.

I would really appreciate you looking at the nomination it’s unbelievable the amount of good that they do locally
