For Nathan

Happy Wednesday to our lovely community.

This weeks nomination comes from our kind member Ruth, who wants to help her friend Nathan, who is disabled, keep exploring, we take for granted the access to go for a walk, climb a hill, go see some sites and for this young man this is something we want him to always have access too.

Scope’s recent quote said "When people talk about the barriers disabled people face, the focus is usually on physical access. But not all barriers are physical. Disabled people are also held back by negative attitudes, policies, and systems that exclude. We need to dismantle all barriers. Not just the ones we can see."

We hope we can help towards the wonderful adventures I am sure this son and mum duo will embark on.

Here is the nomination  in full and the crowdfunded we supported.

Have a lovely week all.

The admin team

Hello!

I wanted to share this crowdfunder for dear friends of mine. Inger is a single parent to Nathan, who has cerebral palsy… As he gets older and bigger, it is becoming incredibly difficult for Inger to manoeuvre him around safely in his wheelchair, and they would dearly love to be able to afford something that Nathan can move about in safely…

Can we help?

Thank you so much for reading!

With my love,

Ruth
