For Estafania

It’s heartbreaking when you read of people being treated poorly and bureaucracy and life continuing to kick them whilst they’re down? 

We think of the countless others across the world who equally would benefit from a much needed hand and the simple knowledge that the good people in this world are legion. Hi all. 

I bring you a case of a lovely lady called Estefania, she is my friend of over 6 years now and our children have grown up together. She is Spanish and works as a cleaner in South East London. 

She has 2 children aged 5 and 7. After finding out a while ago that her husband was having an affair she has been trying to find a way of leaving him but because she does not earn much money she has had to stay until the council could help. 

Recently she found a solution of the council funding her staying at a friend's property - however a few days before the move the council asked the landlady to sign over her property to the council so that they controlled who stayed there if Estafania left. The landlady would not sign this understandably.

This has left Estefania with a bill of £2500 to fund the deposit etc herself which she just can't afford.

Estefania is a beautiful women who I believe deserves to feel safe. She has no support from the father. 

She is a hard worker and a wonderful mother. 

Hopefully you deem her cause worthy of some help - I wouldn't put forward anyone I didn't think worthy of this.
