Breast cancer is an indiscriminate and cruel disease that has blighted so many families in the U.K. it’s no surprise that one small but important charity has moved not one but three of our members to have nominated them. When fellow 500 Reasoner Alice May Purkiss told us of her own diagnosis and how Coppafeel helped save her life & her desire to raise awareness and a bit of cash to help them save others then how could we say no? You brilliant people are making the world a better place, one generous and thoughtful gesture at a time. Love ya x  Hello 500 Reasons Friends,

Hope it's OK to reach out to you here.  Later this year, I'm trekking through the Himalayas for the breast cancer awareness charity, CoppaFeel! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 when I was 26 and I am absolutely chuffed to have been chosen to represent the charity I am now a trustee and ambassador for on this epic trek. CoppaFeel! genuinely saved my life after I finished treatment for my breast cancer by giving my whole experience some purpose and I am so keen to give back to them. They spend their time going around the country teaching people the importance of being breast aware, and, as a trustee I see what an impact this has on people's lives through every interaction I have with the charity. I am not writing here to nominate myself for the weekly cause, because there are far more deserving people in the world than I am, and I especially believe in the work 500 reasons does to support individuals, but I wondered if you would mind if I put my fundraising page on the group to ask the other reasoners if they'd consider donating anything at all towards my £2995 target. I didn't want to post there without asking you. Totally fine if that's not OK - I definitely don't want to take advantage of people's generosity (and there is SUCH an abundance in that group) - but wanted to check with you anyway. END SERMON. Thanks so much guys, Keep up the amazing work you do

Morning all, no point in sugar coating it, I’m afraid it’s a tough read this week. A lovely lad called Jack’s Leukaemia has come back and our mate Ed has reached out to see if we could help this young

Generating help

Hi all, We hope everyone has been staying cool in the heat and haven’t been too interrupted by the chaos caused by a heatwave. As we slept with fans on and were glad to find ourselves in air condition
