Happy Wednesday to you lovely lot,
It is a testament to the strength of our community that the nominations are coming in faster an fuller than ever before, it may also be a reflection of some of the current state of kindness in the world, and the amount of people in need, but this is exactly why we started this group, and why, as a community we are strong, kind and loyal to all touched by it.
This week we decided to spilt the pot and help 2 causes as quick as possible, the first for a young family who need support with costs of burying their Dad, we hope we can help relieve this burden during such an awfully sad time.
The second for a hard working human who has found out they are very ill and to help them go home to be with their family.
Both of these nomination have held all of our hearts and we send all of the strength and love.
Nominations follow by our members Mia and Patsy.
And please keep sending them to us, as we hopefully make the world a place that shows that people really do care, and that Kindness really does matter.
Much love
The team.
Good afternoon friends of 500 Reasons,
I hope this finds you well.
I know I had a nomination last month and I am sure there are many in need at the moment but I wanted to share this with you for consideration please.
They are a young family in my town of Tavistock and the dad/husband has passed away. The mum is someone I know in passing but I know she has 3 kids (One has autism) and having to deal with the loss of a husband is bad enough but the worry of paying for his funeral would just be something horrendous to have to deal with.
She needs £1800 and is not even half way yet!!
Anyway, here goes….
Good afternoon friends of 500 reasons,
I would like to nominate a local family for your help. Sarah’s husband passed away 2 weeks ago and leaves Sarah with their 3 children. Sarah is a local mum and is absolutely devastated at the loss of her husband and also has the worry of trying to pay for his funeral which sadly she has no funds for.
She needed £1800 and is currently just under half way on her Go Fund Me page.
Please see below.
Thank you for considering this nomination, I know you kindly helped me last month with another family in need but this one is also heartbreaking and I would love to give Sarah a glimmer of hope in her hours of darkness.
Kind regards and big love,
Mia
I'd like to nominate someone for the 500 reasons please.
It's a man called Derlis Ramón Agüero Rojas. He is from Paraguay and doesn't have any family living in the UK.
He's been working in the building where we have our offices for some considerable time as a member of the cleaning staff. He is always cheerful and appreciative of life and talks to everyone.
I found out last week that he has stage 3 bowel cancer and it seems to be hereditary. He is receiving treatment in hospital here in the uk and his sister is coming over for two weeks to be with him. If he doesn't start improving, and apparently the cancer has already spread to his liver, then he will go home to Paraguay to be with his family. He isn't a person with a lot of money and any funds to help him will be greatly appreciated. Please would you consider him.
Many thanks and much love
Pat
