Helping people that suffer at the hands of domestic violence.

Good morning everyone. Once again we turn our attention to people that are facing unimaginable pressure, fear and uncertainty on top of the Coronavirus related problems that continue to blight us all. Domestic abuse unfortunately has risen during lockdown and the fantastic organisations that provide life changing and saving support for people that suffer at the hands of their partners are under more pressure than ever. Hi Admin team, Please would you consider the following.Since the lockdown started we have all heard a lot on the news about increases in domestic violence and of how women, men and children find it extremely difficult to escape the physical and mental abuse being inflicted. Imagine how hard it must be to break away from such awful situations. There is a refuge in Barry, South Wales that offers a safe haven for women and their children, who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse. They offer a confidential service and provide accommodation in a secret location. They offer so much more on top of this. For further details, here’s a link to their website. I feel that a timely donation would be a massive help during these unusual times, especially as there has been a notable increase in domestic abuse cases since the lockdown.I would be really pleased if you could consider them for a donation this week.Thank you so much and keep up the good work,Rob Davis.
