Morning all! This week celebrates family and being able to help a little sister who’s really worried about her big sister and thanks to our good friend and member Holly was able to reach out to us to see if we could make her life a little easier as she battles cancer as well as life coming thick and fast.

Here’s her nomination:

Special treat for Sister with cancer- I am nominating my big sister, who is currently undergoing intense treatment for breast cancer, including both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It has been an incredibly difficult year for her, her four children, and everyone who loves her. Two of her children have additional needs, and the impact on the whole family has been immense.

As her little sister, I wanted to find a way to give them something uplifting during this challenging time, an opportunity to do something special together and create a positive memory in the midst of so much hardship. This support will make that possible and provide a much-needed boost for her and her family, especially as her mental health has been deeply affected throughout her treatment.
