Morning everyone. Aaron got in touch because he wants to help his friend and her family at an impossibly tough time. Not an easy read but of course we were only too keen to help. Loads of love to you all and here’s the nomination in full:

I hope you do not mind me reaching out.

I am writing to ask whether there may be any possibility of support for our dear friend, Jas.

At just 25 years old, Jas has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4B ovarian cancer, the most advanced stage of the disease. At an age when she should be looking forward to the future, making plans, and enjoying life, she is instead facing an unimaginably difficult battle.

Jas is due to undergo major surgery on 6 November, including a full hysterectomy. Following specialist advice, she has been told that chemotherapy is not a suitable treatment option for her particular type of cancer. Her prognosis is devastating, with doctors advising that she may have as little as a month to a year to live.

As you can imagine, Jas and her family are heartbroken. Her parents are doing everything possible to support her, including seeking second opinions and exploring potential treatment options both within the UK and abroad. This comes at a significant emotional and financial cost during an already incredibly difficult time.

To help ease some of the burden, we are holding a fundraising event on 1 Novemberto raise as much money as possible to support Jas and her family. Any donation, or contribution, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated and would make a real difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read Jas's story and for considering our request. Any support you are able to provide would mean the world to Jas, her family, and all those who care about her.

Thanks Aaron
