For a wonderful father

A year ago a man from Bristol tried to end his life in the face of unrelenting hardship and thankfully supported by his loving friends and family was able to take those important steps toward recovery and wellness.

He’s had a horrible start to 2025 losing his Nan and then his cousin died of suicide aged only 19.

Yesterday, he put a brief call-out for help on social media, for some clothes for his young lad who’d recently had a birthday. But he took the post down soon after. And the reason he took it down was because there are some trolls on the internet saying horrible things about a man asking for help to clothe his kid.

This is a dedicated father, reaching out whilst having an unimaginably tough time and we’re so grateful that we’re part of this wonderful 500 Reasons community that can help people like him immediately.

You’re all amazing and this is our 418th donation. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. I don’t think any of us will spend a better pound this week?
