Blackpool Girls U8’s Sponsor

Morning all! What a weekend! The Lionesses were absolutely excellent all tournament both on and off the pitch and delivered one of the best tournaments in living memory. The legacy for this wonderful team and all the lionesses that came before them has to be nurturing the womens game at grass roots level and ensure it is properly funded and cultivated for it to continue to thrive. 

As you know, we here at 500Reasons sponsor a kids team every year and put “500Reasons.org - Kindness Matters” on the shirt and ask that the team perform a gesture that benefits their local community. That has been everything from visiting care homes to litter picking and painting in their local park.

We wish them every success this season and enjoy their football and dare to dream because of all the hard work, dedication and sacrifice of all that went before them. And who knows? Maybe some of them can one day emulate the success of their heroes that lifted the cup last Sunday and captured the imagination and the hearts of so many.
