Morning everyone! Our attention has been drawn yet again to the heartbreaking scenes in Kabul and indeed displaced people the world over and our lovely member Tabitha was moved to help.

The wonderful group Black Butterfly are raising funds to support 10 siblings with refugee status that have recently been orphaned due to the death of their mothers.

These kids have endured more than it’s possible to imagine and it’s our absolute privilege to be able to help these young people feel welcome, safe and loved as they look to their futures.

Thank you all.

Here’s Tabitha’s nomination:

Morning lovely people,My first nomination, very exciting. I’ll dive right in. This concerns a local refugee family being supported by an amazing non profit organisation based in my town https://www.blackbutterfly.org.uk/food . They can make their pitch far more eloquently than I can, if you head to their Instagram page and click the first post @blk_butterfly and there’s a link in their bio to donate. Thanks a million! Tabitha x
