Another incredible Mum

Hello lovely members,

This week we are helping a young family who are trying to get back on their feet after a series of challenges. 

Thank you to long time-member Rebecca for nominating them and we hope that this £500 provides a bit of a breather while they work out what’s next and find a new home they can settle into.

We send them our love and wish them well.

And as always we send all of you our love and gratitude for allowing us to help so many people. You are the light the world needs.

Here’s Rebecca’s nomination:

I have a nomination that I’d like to keep anonymous as the person concerned is very private, and may be known to some people in the group.  I also know she is very stressed about money at the moment and the situation is reaching breaking point. 

This person had a life threatening illness a few years ago. During the course of the treatment and convalesence her relationship broke down. With two young children and a flat they couldn’t sell, things have been very very difficult. She is currently dependent on house sitting whilst friends are away. But she has now found a new potential home for her and the children, but negotiating this move is complicated and may not be possible at all because of distance and changing schools. 

Our nominee has done everything possible to ensure the children still have a good relationship with their father and to keep things stable and cordial whilst also finding a suitable and safe place for them to live.

This is an incredibly stressful time for her and the children. I really hope we could take some of the pressure off by backing her. Giving them a bit of breathing space while they figure out next steps so that this family can start to imagine a future without disruption and chaos. Wherever they end up, they deserve a fresh start and I hope we can help get them close to that.
