Neighbours

Morning everyone! Nothing makes me feel more grateful and shocks me out of moments of self pity during these seemingly relentless lockdowns than the thoughtful and often heartbreaking nominations we receive. In these uncertain and tumultuous times it’s important to remember that for some people Covid isn’t the most pressing thing they’re currently facing. Reading Beth’s nomination of Jo going through cervical cancer after being ostracised by her own family is not only heartbreaking but very time sensitive so we felt we needed to act quickly. There are so many equally deserving nominations that we hope to get round to so please bear with us and please don’t stop sending them in.

All our love, gratitude and respect

The 500 Reasons Admin Team x Hi lovely 500 Reasons admins, One of my neighbours posted this fundraising request on our building’s Facebook group and I thought we could help. She is raising money to support a friend who is going through a really difficult time having been diagnosed with cervical cancer and unable to work to support herself and her children as well as having just parted from an abusive family. The go fund me link below has the full details and I think it would be great if we are able to help ease the burden a little as she undergoes further treatment. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-jo-recover-from-cancer?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR3sZQ7iuPnVcCWdjBDHr6xvxHfaMcJnkj8-3bKN8U8O1KvtwU0e11zgBew Thank you for considering my nomination!
