Cribs international

We hope this weeks post finds everyone well in our 182nd week.

We also know we are living through extraordinary times so stay safe take care of each other, it can be a little overwhelming out there at the moment, keep talking and offering a beacon of light to those who could so easily be missed. As a group we continue to be a force for good and we send so many thanks for that, keep them coming. This weeks’ nomination was sent in by Julie and illustrates just how amazing people can be and we send all our love to Sally, there’s a link to the work she does below. Hello lovely lot I know you’re probably inundated at the moment but I wondered if you might consider Cribs International as a nominee this week. They’re a tiny charity, pretty much run by one incredible woman, Sally, a midwife, who has dedicated her later years to providing pre and post-natal care to refugees in Greece. She takes care of their health needs, delivers their babies, finds accommodation for the families. Many are survivors of rape. There has been a massive bedbug epidemic in the accommodation this week and Sally is having to rehome new mums in an often hostile environment. She is absolutely desperate. For more information on this incredible organisation please have a look at CRIBS International – Care for Refugee Interim Baby Shelter

Thanks so much for your consideration and for all you continue to do.  Loads of love Julie Xxx
